Field Day is a brand new summer event bringing together many of London’s alternative concert and club promoters to produce a day of music, dancing and maximum hoopla set in London’s heartland. Music is the main driver but it also aims to have the charm of a village fete. There's four music stages, and a capacity of 5,000.

Confirmed acts include 1990’s, Absentee, Adem, Andrew Weatherall, Archie Bronson Outfit, Battles, Bat For Lashes, Ben Fat Trucker, Boys Noize, Caribou, Electrelane, Erol Alkan, Fence Collective presents 3 Craws, Foals, Four Tet, Fridge, James Yorkston, Jo Jo De freq, Metronomy, Pull Tiger Tail, The Aliens, The Earlies and more - click here for the full details to-date.

In addition to the main musical activities there will be food and drink, a brass band on the Victorian Band Stand, Coconut Shy, Tombola, Tea and Cake stall, Welly throwing, Barn dancing, Tug of War, Morris Dancing, Burlesque tent hosted by Time for Tea, a Hoedown tent, and a Largest Marrow competition (oo-er missus).

The event will run from noon until 10.30pm.

Attendees are advised to use public transport as there are no parking facilities. The nearest tube is Mile End.

The venue is accessible for wheelchair users, with accessible toilets on-site. No glass bottles, no alcohol.
