The annual FolkEast festival takes place from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th August 2024, returning to the 300 acres of parkland site at Glemham Hall, in Suffolk.
The festival returns with at least 2 stages, Moot Hall and The Stage on the Other Side of the Woods (Far, Far Away) which is hosting Broad Roots Presents. There's also a workshop space and two local pubs, The Cobbold Arms and Hop Inn will be serving local ales and ciders.
There are also ceilidhs and workshops, Youth Moot and young folk frolics, Jackalopes and dwile flonking, storytellers and authors, discussions, debates and sessions for song and instrument, Gardeners Cornered and throw down potters, makers and shakers, poets and performers and everything in between.
Line-up
Confirmed acts include The Dhol Foundation, Kris Drever Band, Katherine Priddy, The Gigspanner Big Band, Jim Moray Band, Track Dogs, Granny's Attic, Fay Hield Trio, Angeline Morrison & the Sorrrow Songs Band, Melrose Quartet, Peter's Field, Blowzabella, and many more.

Tickets
Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult weekend: £160 which includes a gig for Thursday arrivals too.
concession weekend: £150
youth (12-17) weekend: £100
child (0-11) weekend: free but needs ticket
Day Tickets - £55, £50 (concessions), 12-17ys - £40.
Camping: £25 per tent
Campervan space and pitch: £40
Getting there
Glemham Hall is just north of Ipswich and is easily accessible by road and rail. A shuttle service will operate between the site and Wickham Market Railway Station.
