Fuse Lichfield, organised by Lichfield Arts, takes place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2013. Now in it's 13th year the festival offers a weekend of music and arts under canvas in Beacon Park, Lichfield, Staffs.

Free festival

The FREE family community arts festival has a culturally diverse mix of events, performances and activities for all ages. The theme for 2013 is "Keep it Local."

Fuse Main Stage

Friday: Dean James, The Valvolines, Knoxville Highway
Saturday: Almost Easy, Wildfire Folk, Kristy Gallacher, Strid, Bleeding Hearts, Peter Parker's Rock 'n' Roll Club, The Offbeat, Fred Zeppelin, Global Reggae Band
Sunday: Church service, Funktional, Walsall Jazz Orchestra, Steve Ajao Blues Giants, Wonderbrass.

Fuse Acoustic Stage

Friday: The Tom Woodman Band, Pearl Handled Revolver, Meberob
Saturday: Balloon Modelling with Heidi and Stephanie, The Loveheart Billionaires, Lichfield Speakers Corner, Pedralta World Fusion Dance,Reggae Drum workshop With Global Reggae, Twysted Rootz Community Theatre Group, Culdesac, Stray Dog, Jim McShee, The Roz Bruce infusion, The Strumtroopers
Sunday: Balloon Modelling with Heidi and Stephanie, Barricades Rise, Wonderbrass Walkaround, Fusion Street Dance Workshop and Performance.

The Feathers Stage

Sunday: Revolution, The Modest, The Quik, Monkee Finga.

The Fuse Acoustic Stage also has an open mic session, craft activities, comedy, ukulele & kids theatre workshops, circus skills, shanty singing, the Silent Disco, the Arts Fair, Art in the Tent, food & craft stalls & a licensed bar.

Entertainment

The event offers music from national and local bands, workshops (dance, poetry, circus skills, singing, songwriting), performances (Poetry, comedy, theatre, dance, storytelling), art and craft activities. Lots of events and activities will involve dance of many types.

There's free parking nearby and the park is just a few minutes walk from the city centre, bus and rail stations.

Accommodation

No camping is allowed on site but there are camping and accommodation options nearby.
