Lichfield Festival of Folk or L2F, organised by Lichfield Arts, returns to Lichfield Guildhall in Staffordshire from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th October 2017, offering a weekend of music and arts.
Line-up
The acts announced so far are:- Jon Boden, Wildfire Folk, Steve Plowright, The Rye Sisters, A Different Thread, Sammy Carter and the Vagabond Collective, Anthony John Clarke, Merry Hell Acoustic, Paul Walker and Karen Pfeiffer, Philip Henry and Hannah Martin, Faustus, Unsung Roots, Threaded, James Brothers, Julie Felix, Sean Lakeman & Kathryn Roberts, and Sheelanagig.
Tickets
A weekend ticket is priced at £65.
A Friday ticket is priced at £22. An all-day ticket for Saturday or Sunday is priced at £30, or you can attend the afternoon only for £15, or the evening only for £20.
Entertainment
The event offers music from national and local bands, workshops (dance, poetry, circus skills, singing, songwriting), performances (Poetry, comedy, theatre, dance, storytelling), art and craft activities. Lots of events and activities will involve dance of many types.
There's free parking nearby and the park is just a few minutes walk from the city centre, bus and rail stations.
Accommodation
Camping is not available, but there are hotels and B&Bs in the area.
