you've helped save the festival - now give it a future
Following the success of the new security measures last year, nothing is being relaxed - in fact security will be tougher still.
New measures include extra police and security presence, and CCTV coverage. There will also be no alcohol for sale in Pilton, as the shop will not be selling it during the Festival, and the Crown pub will be shut. This is to lessen problems and distruption in the village - please respect the villagers right to live their life as normal, and with luck they'll respect the Festival - getting a licence each year is made harder by the problems they suffer.
The gates open at 9am on Wednesday 25th June (as normal). Getting there on the Wednesday is becoming more popular with each passing year - it allows you to get your bearings (the site is huge) and soak up the vibe, ready for it all to kick off bigtime on Friday morning.
Tickets sold out in 24 hours! If you don't have a ticket, please stay away - you WILL NOT get in.
