As the rain subsided and the crowd steadily grew larger, Athlete graced the crowd with their presence, apart from moping a bit over how their new single wasn't going to do well as we were all the people who would buy it and we had no access to the shops, it was an excellent set.
Throughout they kept the crowd interested with a singalong to "you've got the style" and talking about his t-shirt! With hits such as this and "El Salvador", the crowd had no trouble in taking part! The bass was maybe a little too loud for some but on the day Athlete pulled out the stops and were certainly one of my highlights of the weekend! I know i will now be listening to "Vehicles and Animals" a lot more! If anyone is interested they are also going on tour in November, in sure tickets are available from the eFestivals website and the new single "Westside" is out in the shops now!
