GodFest 2009

GodFest is a brand new community festival which is taking place in Godalming over the Spring Bank Holiday (Friday 22nd - Monday 25th May 2009) bringing together elements of secular and Christian music as well as arts, performance and worship.

GodFest will utilise a number of Godalming's existing churches and church rooms for workshops and performances as well as a number of outdoor spaces most of which will feature Fairtrade cafes and/or bars.

The net proceeds from GodFest will be donated to the Christian based Trinity Trust Team youth project (TTT) in Godalming which employs 3 full time youth leaders and has over 30 adult volunteers who together run a variety of clubs, workshops and events for over 400 young people in the Godalming area. At all events there will also be a voluntary collection for the TTT.

There is all day entertainment with arts events, performances, workshops going on in various indoor venues and outdoor places..
