The Green Man Festival will take place from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th August 2019, at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales.
A four day event with three days of music and more than 100 acts playing indie, psychedelia, Americana, and folk across 5 stages, while DJs playing everything from psychedelia, dub-reggae, modern electro and stoner rock right through the night, plus film, literature, workshop and children's areas, and DJs.
Line-up
Confirmed acts include Four Tet (live); Father John Misty; Eels; Stereolab; Yo La Tengo; Idles; Sharon Van etten; Broken Social Scene; Amadou & Mariam; and many more, with more to be announced.

Tickets are sold out (car park passes, etc, still available). They were priced as follows:-
adult weekend: £189

All tickets include camping.
About
As well as the music there will be art installations, literature and film tents, Welsh poetry, art and music, ceilidhs, poetry, theatre, science, comedy, Nature and Nurture massage area, a daily dusk till dawn bonfire, impromptu jamming sessions, and food stalls offering a wide range of cuisine most of which is locally sourced and organic. The festival also has an array of quirky bars dotted around the site with the a 24 hour drinks licence, serving everything from real ale and cider, wine, to hot toddies, and cocktails.
Kids area
FutureGenerations (formerly the Kids Area) is exclusively designed for young people of all shapes and sizes under the age of 18 - from toddlers to teens and everyone in between across six activity areas.
The event also has 'Little Folk' for tiny tots to 12 year-olds with circus skills, a making things tent, fancy dress and musical storytelling.
Back of Beyond
Behind the Walled Garden and nestled within Fortune Falls, will be a performing arts area 'Back of Beyond' hosting circus and dance, mischievous encounters and make believe moments.
Einstein's Garden
Experience the wonders of science and nature in the 'science' themed Einstein's Garden. The area is home this year to over 100 performances, from live comedy, music and theatre to walks, talks and interactive installations across three sustainably powered stages - The Solar Stage (sun), The Workshop Dome (pedal) and The Omni Tent (hydrogen fuel cell).
Teen area
'Somewhere' is an exclusive multimedia adventure zone for teenagers open until 10pm every night with activities, arts, dance, music and film just for teens with music video making, juggling, light graffiti, scriptwriting, sorb football and even sock wrestling!
Cinedrome
Green Man have teamed up with Little White Lies to bring thought-provoking dramas, cult favourites and family-friendly features to the 24-hour Cinedrome.
Talking Shop stage
Green Man's new spoken word and literature stage is located in the 'Babbling Tongues' area and will be home to a line-up of authors, musicians, poets and playwrights.
Last Laugh stage
Green Man's comedy stage is also located in the 'Babbling Tongues' area.
Green issues
The festival is keen to support the environment so they are introducing a greener way for everyone to travel to and from the festival. The 'Green Bus' will travel right into the festival site from most City destinations. Plus there is a free shuttle bus service from Abergevanny Train Station to and from the festival site for all festival goers coming by train.
Green Poll
Green Man has an annual search for a band to open the festival - Green Poll. Any band can register and the public vote for the bands they like. Top bands then go through to a live final in Camden, London where the judges choose the band to open the festival.
