Now in it's seventeenth year, Hampton Court Palace Festival takes place from Tuesday 2nd until Saturday 13th June 2009. The Palace in Surrey will be welcoming a wide variety of high profile artists from classical through to rock and pop.

The line-up is as follows:
Tue 2nd June José Carreras with soprano Anna Leese and special guest Faryl Smith.
Wed 3rd June Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis and special guest Dave Edmunds and guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
Thu 4th June Russell Watson
Fri 5th June Level 42
Sat 6th June The Four Seasons
Tue 9th June Beverley Knight and Lemar
Wed 10th June James Morrison
Thu 11th June RPO's Best of Broadway
Fri 12th June Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis and special guest Dave Edmunds and guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
Sat 13th June Beethoven Festival Finale featuring Chloë Hanslip & Freddy Kempf.

Performances tend to begin either at 7pm or at 9pm and feature a programme packed with well-known names, culminating in a Festival Finale with a programme of classical favourites and a firework display on the East Front Gardens.

There are also days specifically set aside for a special picnic in the gardens or for a buffet in a furnished marquee in the East Front Gardens prior to some performances.

BY ROAD: Hampton Court Palace is situated to the South West of Central London and is close to Kingston Upon Thames. It is 20 minutes from Junction 15, 12 and 10 of the M25. Festival car parking will be extensively signposted on all major approach roads.

PARKING: Complimentary parking facilities, a few minutes walk from the Palace are available to festival patrons. Follow the signs. Car Parks will be open from 5.30pm onwards on performance days and until one hour after the end of the performance.

BY RAIL: Hampton Court Palace is only two minutes walk from Hampton Court Station which is served direct to and from Waterloo. A special Festival service is usually arranged for each evening – the last train leaving Hampton Court Station at 00.10am after each performance.
