Handmade the three day family friendly music festival held cross the 'Old Town' quarter of Leicester returns for a 2nd year over May bank holiday weekend from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th May 2014.

Line-up

Latest additions are Woahnows, Emperor Yes, Sivu, Charlotte Carpenter, Mahalia, Fred Page, Matt Henshaw, Henry Sharpe, China Rats, Clubs, Pixel Fix and Lovepark.

The first acts confirmed acts were Grace Petrie and the Benefits Culture, Katie Malco, We Three and the Death Rattle, Iliketrains, Shonen Knife, Three Trapped Tigers, The Physics House Band, and Tangled Hair.

A big part of Handmade will be working with some of the festivals, record labels and promoters with curators for the coming festival named as 2000Trees vs. ArcTanGent, and Big Scary Monsters Vs. Alcopop with more music curators to be announced.

An early bird ticket is priced at £25.

Tickets will be exchanged for a wristband which gains you access to all Festival venues over the weekend. At particularly popular events please arrive early to guarantee admission.

The event offers Nationally and Internationally renowned musical acts, comedians and performers, alongside exceptional local music, art, film and photography talent. The festival will be taking over some of the city's best loved established venues and bars alongside 'reclaimed' and downright unusual spaces. Organisers plan to squeeze every last inch of their bit of the city full of 'pop-up' creative brilliance.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
