The 23rd annual, Heather Music Festival is North West Leicestershire's biggest FREE live music event offering classical, Jazz, Folk, Rock and Cajun, and taking place from Friday 29h until Sunday31st July 2016.
Line-up
The 3 main 6m wide outdoor stages are each set at 3 separate locations all within around 800 yards from each other. Line-up includes We Tried Kylie, The March, Mansfield Avenue, Nile Delta Buskers, Hartland, The Expired, The Shakers, Maximum Jam, FFS, The Simpletones, Riffler, Noisewater, The Upbeats, Sam Hinds, Graystarr, The Bench That Rocked, The Boys Of 61, Rockska, Finding Georgia, Emily Carr, Simply Acoustic, The Authentic, Unplugged, Spektrum, and Enroute.
Venues
There are 2 venues involved in the music festival, The Crown and now at Heather St. John's football club, all literally within crawling distance of each other. All venues will have their own big 'gig tent' in the grounds. There will be food available at both venues, and children are welcome.
Camping
There is a dedicated camping area set up at Heather St John's Football Club priced at £7.50 per night with a weekend ticket available at only £10 for Friday and Saturday night bookings, and pre-booking is advisable as space is limited.
Charity
The money raised this year will be donated to the local school, and charities.
