Manchild

Having heard a bit about this new band and listened to their live performance on Radio 1, I really wanted to see Manchild at this festival.

However, my plans were somewhat thwarted when, just having arrived, I realised that they were on. It was 2pm and I raced to the Home arena in time to catch their final two numbers.

As you might expect so early on in the day people were fairly thin on the ground but this band had managed to get them off their feet and they were dancing. Kwam Chang, credited with 'onstage momentum', or dancing to you and me, had obviously done his job to encourage people but the music itself was designed to make you need to get up and move. It was heavy jumping stuff and MC Natham Evans was loud and clear.

This stuff is sure to get more crowds up and at it over the summer as Manchild spread the word of rocking sound at other festivals. I'll catch you next time guys.
