InFest 2008

The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th August, again at Bradford University Student Union, West Yorkshire and supporting The Marie Curie Cancer Care Trust, and The Lymphoma Association.

InFest claims to be the UK's premier festival of alternative electronic music embracing EBM, industrial, rhythmic noise, synthpop, and darkwave-goth. Expect a line-up of some of the biggest names in the alternative electronic music scene along with some exciting new talent.

There are only a few acts confirmed so far: Front 242, And One, Grendel, Noisuf-X, 5F-X, Heimataerde, Snog, Santa Hates You, Tyske Ludder, Marsheaux, 100blumen, Deviant UK, SkinjoB, and Coreline with many more still to come.

There will also be three dancefloor/DJ areas offering EBM/Industrial/Noise or Goth/80's/Synthpop/Electro or Minimal/Electronica/Dubstep. The DJs so far confirmed include Matt (Slimelight), DJ General Protection Fault (Dark Asylum), Ricardo (Infest, Sunglasses At Night), DJ Midnight (Club Lash, Mid Life Crisis), Disc_Mistress (Cornucopia), S.o.T & Chris (Autonomy), Tom Samsara (Torture Garden / Antiworld), mr SINister (Ascension / Dark City festival), Stuart (The Wake), and n0_nAMe.

Tickets were on sale priced at £45, but are now sold out.

Note this event has no camping and is for over 18s only.
