Kelvedon Festival 2005

This community festival is now in its ninth year with a truck acting as the single stage and performers predominantly from Essex, mainly the immediate area. There will also be various street entertainers. There is a craft fair in a marquee, a barbeque, and a beer tent plus other hot and cold food and drink.

Taking place from midday until 7pm, this year's line-up includes:
Eddie & the Hot Rods (headlined Reading in 1978); Automatic Slim (Essex-delta rhythm'n'blues); pop and rock covers from Bad Habits; fROMaLMOSTtHEeND; The Donkeys; Peter Cat (Colchester-based Battle of the Bands winners); original melodic rock from Relay; acoustic folk duo, Kundalini Drive; singer/songwriter/guitarist, Sophie Nash; new local talent, Sammi Bassey; and Cords, Colchester's pop choir.
