Keswick Mountain Festival will take place from Tuesday 14th until Sunday 17th May 2015 in the heart of the Lake District. In addition to music the programme is made up of guided activities including MTB biking, hiking, canoeing, navigation training, ghyll scrambling, climbing and challenging sporting events including Triathlons, Trail Races, Open water swims and a Sportive. Plus kids activities, local food stalls, exhibitors, and camping.

Sports

Triathlons
Short Triathlon - covering a 400m swim, 20km cycle and 5km trail run, the short race is a great option for any first time triathlete
Long Triathlon - a challenging route with an 800m swim, 35km cycle and 10km run taking in iconic routes and passes around the Keswick area

Trail Runs
10km - a trail race which offers views of Derwentwater offering a mix of single track trails, forests and lake views.
Half marathon- a 21k half marathon distance. This is a challenging route taking in the views of Derwentwater and the surrounding fells.
5km Trail Race – off road 5km starting and finishing at the festival.
Ultra Marathon - a scenic 50km Ultra Trail Marathon. The course takes in the best of the Borrowdale, Buttermere & Newlands trails & views.

Swim
1500m Derwent Island swim – a swim that has been in the KMF programme for the past 4 years around Derwent Island.

Sportive
Back o’ Skiddaw Sportive – making a total distance of 70km the sportive for cyclists with a bit of everything thrown into one loop. The Sportive is graded as 2 (out of a possible 5) in the British Cycling sportive grading system.
