Theatres, basement bars, clubs and pubs, cafes and warehouse spaces will host over a kilometre of locally sourced festival fun and provide the backdrop for a good old East End knees up. There will be a special cabaret commission from interactive theatre company Gideon Reeling, talent showcases from Thisisnotanexit records and the Pool DJ agency, and club nights from Say Yes, Girlcore and Living in a Disco. Arcola Theatre is one of the most respected arts venues in the UK. Housed in a stunning converted factory, it is a favourite of established theatre literati.

From April 6th to 24th, Arcola will be showing the UK premiere of award-winning actor Laurence Fishburne's powerful hit play, Riff Raff, about two half brothers and a crack den in the Lower East Side. After the show, doors will be opened for a unique night for Land of Kings.

New for 2010 is Dalston's most underground venue, the 'Dungeon of Discoveries'. In a bunker below Dalston's main artery, festival-goers will explore a sprawling exhibition space of interconnecting rooms to experience multiple performances and sensory-based interactive installations.

The Rebel Dining Society, meanwhile, have taken the concept of pop-up dining experiences to new levels; using a passion for food, art, music and dining in unexpected locations. Partnering with the festival for a special 'Royal Banquet', tRDS will be taking over a secret venue on the festival trail, transforming it into a restaurant and serving-up a three-course dinner fit for a king in eccentric surroundings. Reservations can be made when buying advance tickets.

Hackney-based design studio Patternity will be curating a special UV-lit exhibition – “A Tapestry of Dalston” - at The Printworks gallery. The exhibition is influenced by the curators’ experiences in some of Dalston's UV lit-basement venues and will be displayed under ultraviolet lamps, giving each piece added depth and contrast.

More information will be here when available.
