The dates for the 28th family friendly Larmer Tree Festival are confirmed from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st July 2019.
Expect eclectic music of over 100 bands and acts performing on six stages, alongside a comedy club, 150 free workshops, street theatre and more set in the spectacular backdrop of Larmer Tree Gardens with its resident peacocks and macaws.
The theme for 'dress-up Saturday' this year is 'out of this world' - aliens, astronauts, and the astronomical.
Line-up
Announced acts include The Cat Empire; Kate Tempest; Tom Odell (Jack Savoretti cancelled due to illness); The Shires; Gomez; KT Tunstall; GoGo Penguin; Ezra Collective; Tank and The Bangas; Let's Eat Grandma; Jade Bird; BC Camplight; Nish Kumar; and more, with more to be announced.

Children's entertainment include Andy and the Odd Socks, and The Comedy Club for Kids, and talks include Kate Adie in conversation with Richard Osgood, and BBC Radio 4's thought-provoking show, Four Thought.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult weekend: £185
aged 11-17 years weekend: £117
under 10s: free but ticket needed
car park: £15
campervans: £60
All weekend tickets include camping.

The festival generally has a lovely chilled atmosphere, and is child-friendly, all set on a gorgeous site in lovely Victorian pleasure gardens with a free campsite next door, with free showers and well serviced toilets. There are also countless other attractions for all ages, including a carnival procession, 150 free workshops, theatre and talks, site art and a dedicated kids' zone.
