A craft drinks festival like no other is coming to Southend next summer, from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July. With more than 50+ craft drinks on offer, alongside lively demonstrations, talks, tastings and food experiences, not to mention a line-up of big-name acts and local musicians, there’s something for everyone.
Lazydays is flipping the traditional beer festival on its head to create an innovative experience like no other. A true celebration of all things craft, from local gin and tonic with the best-paired garnish, to independent Essex wine-makers, refreshing cocktails, English-apple cider and a huge selection of craft beers and lagers.
The festival will consist of four sessions across the weekend in Southend’s Priory Park: kicking off on Friday night, followed by two sessions on Saturday, and closing with an extended Sunday session. Both daytime sessions are family-friendly and will feature activities including a children’s mocktail bar, providing entertainment for the whole family.
Line-up
The music lineup is topped by some of the UK’s finest talent, including BBC 6music funk & soul DJ, Craig Charles, indie rock band, The Futureheads, BBC Radio 1xtra legend, David Rodigan and ‘90s album charting, Sleeper. Added to its impressive line-up are Sundara Karma, Mystery Jets, The Hoosiers, Newton Faulkner, Girl Ray, DJ Yoda, and The Cuban Brothers. Essex act, Rounds, as well as local DJs, Gully B, Danny Blanco, Ollie Winiberg and Al - L.A. Boxers, will join them on the bill.
