LeeFest 2012

LeeFest returns to Highams Hill Farm, Sheepbarn Lane, Warlingham, Surrey on two days two months earlier in the year, on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th June 2012 and is a non-profit music festival that started as a community of 150 young people in a back garden. The festival has now grown to 2000 people in a field with the same vibe retained.

Although being centred around young people the festival is targeted at an audience of all ages and offers opportunities for unsigned artists to play alongside seasoned professionals.

Line-up

Mystery Jets will headline, with Summer Camp, Slow Club, Ghostpoet, Bastille, The Skints, Man Like Me (live), Casiokids, Sound of Guns, FOE, Seye, Lets Buy Happiness, By The Rivers, Fever Fever, Ill Murray, The Brownies, Friction & Linguistics, Jakwob, Urban Nerds, Grand Pocket Orchestra, The Title Sequence, Bwani Junction, Josh Beech & the Johns, Bonfire Nights, Hella Better Dancer, Youth Imperial, Santiago Street Machine, Van Susans, Red Lapels, Aaron Delahunty, Colour Clouds, Sea Stacks, Matt Emery, Raf Daddy (The 2 Bears), We Were Evergreen, Big Kids, To Kill A King, Public Service Broadcasting, Tom Williams and the Boat, Broken Hands, and more. Collaborations

This year organisers have had so many emails from people wanting to bring something interesting to the festival so they're opening it up for them to get involved. Collaborations announced so far include Hackney based inc. magazine who will be producing a special edition that will come to life at the festival. Student stand-­up competition Tickled Pig will be hosting a comedy 'Olympigs', and festival favourites Wonderland return with a tent full of live music, cabaret and a bakery. Talent search

Organisers are looking for unsigned acts to join the LeeFest 2012 line-up as part of the Noise Collective competition. Applications are now open with a chance to play the music festival. Around 25 acts from the Noise Collective will play at this year's festival. To apply for the Noise Collective click here.

Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets are priced at £57 for the weekend. Under 10's get in free and must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 at all times when on site. Maximum 2 children per adult.

Facilities

All the essentials for a good day are available on site. These include toilets, reasonably priced food and drink, cash machines and first aid.

LeeFest offers more than just music; in order to ensure that everybody has the most amazing weekend they offer all manner of exciting things to eat, drink, see and do as well as hear.
