L Fest is a weekend celebration of live music, lesbian authors, workshops, lesbian cinema, comediennes, games, river cruises, speed dating, camping and more held at a new location this year at Uttoxeter Racecourse, Wood Lane, Uttoxeter, in Staffordshire.
In 2015 the festival takes place from Friday 17th until Monday 20th July.

Tickets
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £99. Children aged under 16 years can attend for free and there's a full children's programme of activities. Day tickets are priced at £60.
The Other Bits
There's also some other lovely bits to make the weekend more enjoyable and even more girly, such as the pampering retreat, workshops galore, activities, a cinema to showcase some of the best films and there's somewhere for the little ones to stay and play and under sixteens go free.
The L Fest solo club makes coming by yourself fun. A specific crew designated to meet and greet you and introduce you to others in the group as soon as you arrive. There's a solos camping area, a group meet & greet at 8pm on Friday at L Fest where you can meet others to take part in activities together.
Arts
The DIVA Sex Academy hosted by Jane Czyzselska, Polari London's LGBT literary salon, Up Close & Personal with Indie Authors: Desire, Dramas & Divas, Poetry & spoken word with Immani Love, Author Manda Scott with Woman Warriors and Planet London will be hosting a ‘LBQ Visibility in the Media’ Discussion Panel including Alicya Eyo and Kathy Caton.
Performance & comedy
There’s many performance pieces from the Brighton duo All the nice girls 1940's music hall, to Offside; a narrative of Women’s Football over the years. And solo shows Kerry Leigh wants to marry her brother and How to manifest a woman! There is a cabaret night hosted by lara A king, Theatre performance by Murder Lezzwood incorporating the Saturday night Cowboi and Cowgirl theme. The Laughing Cows comedy always finish the festival with a huge audience and this year will be no exception as Bethany Black, Cucumber & Zoe Lyons take to the stage.
Cinema
Programmed by Planet London, will be showing Pride, and Crazy Bitches official UK DVD Launch. Film Director Jane Clarke, will be there from the USA for Q&A’s after the showing. Actress and Director Alicya Eyo, (Emmerdale & Bad Girls), will also be part of a Q&A to talk about her part as director in the new short film, Brace.
Workshops
Ove 20 interactive workshops include improv group Short & Girlies, Drag King, Scavenger Hunt, Life Coaching, Yoga and Boot Camp.
Plus more
The Big Top is back along with resident DJ Lady Heidi & DJ Blondie as well as club nights from around the country, Ruby Tuesdays, Chic Habit, Boi Box & Urban Cellar. The silent disco has returned and there's a new green field with cinema and acoustic tent powered by solar along with the festoon lighting for the whole camp site!
Activities
As well as music, there's also sports, inflatables, climbing wall, archery and riverboat cruises are all on offer.
Camping
Camping is all on-site allowing festival goers access to all venues and activities.
This venue is flat, has tarmac roadways throughout and there is ample free parking. There are also flushing toilets and showers, and buildings for workshops and sessions plus improved access for those with disabilities.
