A festival celebrating a wide variety of music from artists around the world held at either the Town Hall or other venues in Glossop town centre from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th July.

In true Lift style the programme is an eclectic mix of talent featuring the return of Lift favourites Ska Wars, Nucleus Roots and the Albert Nyathi and Imbongi from Zimbabwe (this time featuring South African legend Maqhinga Radebe (guitarist and vocalist from Ladysmith Black Mambazo) together with first time visits by Muntu Valdo (Cameroon) and Laye Sow (Senegal) both wonderful solo performers being heralded throughout the music press. Plus music from The Lovers and a plethora of home grown talent.

As with previous years some of these events will take place at The Globe and the Town Hall both of which have very limited capacity
