Live At Leeds 2012

Now in it's sixth year The Live At Leeds Weekend takes place Friday 4th until Monday 7th May at various venues in Leeds.

Live at Leeds festival will see national names joining the hottest local talent performing at venues around the city centre in a unique celebration of the best in new music.

Line-up

Acts announced including Example, The Enemy, Marina and the Diamonds, Los Campesinos!, The Subways, Ladyhawke, Chew Lips, Dog Is Dead, Dot Rotten, Friends, Ghostpoet, Howler, I Like Trains, Jakwob, Jamie N Commons, Jess Mills, Lianne La Havas, Niki & the Dove, Ren Harvieu, Reverend and the Makers, Scroobius Pip, Spector, Stooshe, and many more. Example will be playing a separate ticketed event on the Saturday of Live at Leeds Festival with support from Wretch 32 at Millennium Square. Stooshe playing the Cockpit on Sunday brings the weekend of live music to a close.

The Unconference will happen on Friday 4th May. Saturday features the Live at Leeds Festival (one wristband 100 bands, 11 stages, 9 Venues) while Saturday will also host the return of the Millennium Square shows.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £20 for the all day event on Saturday 5th May, starting at noon, and must must be exchanged for a festival wristband. The ticket holders must be present at the wristband exchange point. Wristbands allow entry to each of the participating venues, as individual venue capacities permit.

The Unconference

Guests already confirmed to appear this year include: Tom Robinson, and Sean Adams, as well as representatives from West Yorkshire BBC Introducing, I Like Press, Big Life Management, Loudhailer PR, Sentric Music Publishing, Work It Media and more. 5-aside football

The Live at Leeds 5-aside Football Tournament will bring the bank holiday weekend to a close. Featuring bands playing the festival and fans the event takes place on Monday 7th May from 2pm, at Goals Soccer Centre on Kirkstall Road, Leeds.

There will be a launch night at A Nation Of Shopkeepers on Sunday 25th March featuring the live draw for the groups, as well as instant reaction from various teams. Entrance is free

Venues

In its sixth year, Live at Leeds has quickly become an institution in the Leeds calendar taking place in multiple venues. This year's 11 venues are Brudenell Social Club, The Cockpit, The Faversham, Holy Trinity Church, 02 Academy Leeds, Leeds Met, Leeds University, Nation of Shopkeepers, The Well, Milos, and Leslie Silver Building - Wristband Exchange.
