Liverpool Music Week has pulled together a line up of top artistes and fresh talent to create a 11 day itinerary of live music with over 200 bands across venues in Merseyside, with a combination of ticketed and free shows. The unique underlining ethos behind Liverpool Music Week is to attract some of the UKs biggest artistes to Liverpool and also give fresh and emerging new talent a platform to perform.
As well as staging live music events, Liverpool Music Week will also be running a series of panels and seminars featuring some of the UKs music industry movers & shakers who will come together to discuss issues and opportunities within the sector and to offer advice and support to a range of related music businesses, artists and individuals with a desire to enter the music industry (see below). There's also the Record Collectors Fair on the closing weekend, a series of Music Cinema screenings, and a programme that includes the best of Liverpools under-18 talent.

In addition to the 11 day music fest of gigs, Liverpool Music Week will also be hosting a series of seminars to discuss various parts of the Music Industry. Attracting key players to discuss all aspects of the Music Industry, from musicians, to management to PR. For anyone wanting to enter the industry or indeed simply with an interest in it, these seminars are for you.
