Lollapalooza Berlin 2015

Germany joins Chile, Brazil and Argentina as an international Lollapalooza location, in addition to the original U.S. Festival in Chicago’s Grant Park. The first European edition and will take place at Tempelhof Airport, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2015.

Lollapalooza Berlin is run by Festival Republic.

Line-up

Saturday headliners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be making their only performance in Europe, Sunday's headlining act is Muse. Also confirmed for Saturday are Parov Stelar, Fatboy Slim, Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize), Hot Chip, Chvrches, FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks), Mighty Oaks, MS MR, James Bay, Digitalism, Everything Everything, Glass Animals, and Razz.

Seeed make their only German appearance on a bill that will includeStereophonics, Brand New, Parquet Courts, Dawes, Coasts, San Cisco, Deichkind, David K., Beatsteaks, Sam Smith, Martin Garrix, Tame Impala, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Belle & Sebastian, Little Dragon, Run the Jewels, Crystal Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Clean Bandit, Dada Life, Klangkarussell (DJ-Set), Wolf Alice, Felix Jaehn, and Pond.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Weekend tickets were priced at 119 euros, and a child (aged 11-14 years) ticket was priced at 19 euros. Children aged 10 years and under tickets are free. Tickets have sold out a week before the event.

Art Village

Berlin Festival is defining its musical endeavours of 2015. In terms of its visual and artistic identity, the Art Village comes into play. Over 60 artists will take on the Arena Park and the Oberhafenkantine to paint, design, sing, conjure, dance, build, spray, create and perform.

44Flavours, Various & Gould, graffiti artists 1UP and Il - Jin Atem Choi and garbage bin designer Uwe Lewitzky, The Berlin School for Acrobatic Arts, Dave Ortiz, Karsten Konrad, The Great Joy Leslie, Electro Swing Revolution, Bewildered Funfair, Lyrical Minutes In The City, The Wishing Tree, Serigraffeur, Noggad, Cyroline, Inlace Jewelry and Elicamente, Julian Heun, Noah Klaus, Malte Roßkopf, Volker Surmann, Sebastian Lehmann, White Trash Fast Food (TRASHite), The Busker Diaries, Alice Phoebe Lou, Charity Children, Stephen Paul Taylor a.k.a. SPT, Katie O'Conner, Tice, Graham Candy, Louis Baker, Gabriel John a.k.a. Tuesday Born, and many more are among the names announced.

The Green Neighbourhood

Lollapalooza Berlin’s Der GrüneKiez (The Green Neighbourhood) will bring together the capitals’ sustainable community, creating a space for green, conscious and sustainable lifestyles. Der GrüneKiez will provide a space for both information and interaction and aims to foster an exchange about community issues and to get people participating in sustainable and social responsibility.
