Lowender Peran will take place from Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th October 2008 in the picturesque village of Perranporth, Cornwall, and is said to be Cornwall's biggest Celtic Festival, featuring performers from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, the Isle of Man and Cornwall.

Performers confirmed so far include Herriot Watt University Dancers, Christine Wilson Highland Dancers, Tipyn O Bopeth, Lord Edwards Own Pipe Band, Ceoltoiri le cheile, Perree Bane, Asteveryn, The Cornwall Fiddle Orchestra, Asteveryn, Troyl and Error, Bolingey Troyl Band and Dancers, Hevva, Dew Varth, Kerensa, Kekezza, Penguizers, Mike O'Connor, Ros Keltek, Tan Ha Dowr, Crowders, and Horners. There are many more acts still to be confirmed.

The festival has a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere, and includes concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, sessions, singing, storytelling, poetry, film and a large Celtic craft market.
