Manchester International Festival - Music Series

Part of the Manchester International Festival which takes place at venues all over the city and draws on the city's role in music, with the programme usually focusing particularly on new music. The festival also has concerts premiered during the event by established and emerging international musicians.

The Festival also focuses on current issues and stories, playing host to debates and new commissions. It also highlights the city's 24 hour party spirit by working with the city's clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Many of the Festival's productions and events often premiere in the city before touring to other international destinations, such as Paris, New York and Berlin.
