Maverick Festival, now in its sixth year, takes place at Easton Farm Park, Easton, Woodbridge, in Suffolk from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th July 2014.
The festival celebrates Americana, Alt-Country, and Roots with music, film, and workshops.
Line-up
Latest additions are Hank Wangford, Billy Bragg, Rita Payne, Jamie Freeman Agreement, Abi Moore Band, House Of Hats, Goat Roper Rodeo Band, American Dream, April Maze, Canyon Ryde, Crying Wolf, Dayna Kurtz, Don Gallardo, Dreaming Spires, Jacob Navarro, Kristin Diable, Mc Hansen, New Essex Bluegrass Band, Rebecca Pronsky, Robby Hecht, Sadie Jemmett, Sam Lewis, Shipcote & Friends, The Henry Brothers, The Mae Trio, Thom Chacon, and Winter Mountain.
The first acts announced were Danny & The Champions Of The World, Larkin Poe, Flats & Sharps, Reverend Peyton and his big Damn Band, Sarah Jane Scouten, Peter Bradley Adams, Robby Hecht, David Berkley, Holly Williams, Peter Bruntnell, David Hood, Ward Thomas, Mary Gauthier, The Rainbow Girls, Brooks Williams, The Wynntown Marshals, Massy Ferguson, Police Dog Hogan, Goat Roper Band, Dan Beaulaurier, and Marty O'Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra.
Tickets
Adult tickets are priced at £75 for the weekend including camping and parking or £49 without camping. Kids aged 10-15 years tickets are priced at £10, and children under 10 free. A ticket for Saturday all day only is priced at £35, and £20 for Friday night only. Ticket prices do not include booking fees.
Programme
Festivities usually kick off on Friday night with the welcome jamboree in the Barn, followed by a full programme on Saturday that will include music and dance, performances and workshops, spread across four stages, indoors and out. The sanctified sounds of the Gospel Brunch will raise the rafters in the Barn and bring things to a close on Sunday.
Catering
Local vendors provide a tasty offering of regional fayre that will include locally reared meat, game, fish and vegetables, ice creams and gourmet coffee, as well as locally brewed ales, lagers, juices and wine.
The Native American Trading Post
Camden Lock's The Native American Trading Post will be there promoting all things Native American to the UK, including music, dance and storytelling as well as traditional and contemporary jewellery and crafts.
