Celebratintg its 21st Anniversary this year, the event offers a narrowboat rally as well as music and street theatre with juggling, parades through the town, stalls, music at various venues, brass bands and Morris dancing.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Blue Horyzon, Fosbrooks, The Peace Artistes, Dan Walsh & Christi Andropolis, Poyser Fluff and Farrell, Acoustak, Andrew Buckley, Blackfingers, Calico Jack, Dai Thomas, Fern Mitchell, Fred & Craig Moores, Hayley Strangelove, Last One's Out, Marie-Clare Scott, Middlewich Paddies, Pete Butler, Phil Maddocks, Providence Jug Band, Salty Dog Blues Band, Steamhead, and The Sea's of Mirth. They join FAB Anniversary Ceildh with All Blacked Up, Thom Kirkpatrick, The Boat Band, Kane Sisters & Edel Fox, Crazy Folk, The Daydream Club, Pete Morton, Pilgrim's Way, David Gibb & the Pony Club, The Wandering Vagabond, The Weavils, and Blair Dunlop with festival patron Mark Radcliffe.

To celebrate the 21st Anniversary, this year's festival is free.

Other entertainment

There will also be concerts taking place in the Festival Marquee, and in the British Legion plus a ceilidh every night at the Civic Hall. Artists performing this year have not yet been announced.

Workshops & children

Circus skills, poetry and music workshops are also expected. There's also a children's festival with activities such as face painting, balloon modelling, fairground (small rides), talent show, and colourful parades.
