On Sunday September 2nd over 100 live performers will unite 20 countries and communities to bring together Milton Keynes’ very own World Picnic.

The picnic takes place in Campbell Park Amphitheatre from 3pm – 8pm and is free to all. You can take a picnic, relax and soak up the sounds of African choirs, British folk music, Bhangra, Salsa, Blues and traditional drumming. Enjoy dance acts, including bollywood and bellydancers, traditional storytelling and indulge in a little international retail therapy.

Speaking about the event, Craig McLeish, festival co-ordinator, said: “Milton Keynes has amazingly talented performers from different countries and cultures. The World Picnic is about sharing these amazing sounds and offering something new for music lovers in Milton Keynes."

Acts confirmed to play are as follows: Frantic UK (Street dance), Congolese Community Church Choir, Khaleel Muhammad, SOMA, Ambika Mandal, Telagu Dancers, Bollywood Dancers, Kulajack, Charmaine Armitage, Brad Bradstock, Culdeep and Gagandeep Singh, Linda Watkins, Sue Mallenson, Belly Dancers, Concrete Cowboys, Natasha Gilbert and friends, Yaw, Rudy B and Salsa Culture, and The Rhema International Choir.
