This will be the final Moor and Coast festival. Centered around Whitby Community College, the venue includes a campsite (with indoor facilities and showers), and Main Concert Hall with real ale bar. There's also a secondary venue at the Friendship Rowing Club in Church Street, in the old part of Whitby where smaller concerts and events take place, with a large window acting as the backdrop to the stage overlooking Whitby and the river.
The line-up includes the following:
Vin Garbutt, Jez Lowe & Kate Bramley, Elbow Jane, Tom McConville with David Newey, Something Nasty in the Woodshed, George Welch, Ember, Anthony John Clarke, Dan McKinnon, Workshy Profits, The Young'uns, Copper Kettle, Tina Taylor, Botticelli's Angels, Coblers Monday, Geoff Turner, Jim McDonald, and Ken Hall.
Whitby Town Centre is only 10 minutes walk from the main venue. Here, the sessions for sing-a-rounds and musicians and the folk club will be held plus dance displays on the harbour side. As well as concerts and dances, there will be ceilidhs, ghost walks, workshops and street entertainment.
