Music in the Park 2011

Music in the Park takes place in Elms Park, Thame, Oxfordshire on Sunday 8th May 2011, from 12.30pm to 9pm.

This one day music festival will have two stages, beer festival, scooter rally, and trade stands, food stalls, crafts, and workshops.

Line-up

Dome Stage: Ultimate Elton, Empty Vessels, Bootlegger, The Nerve, The Peppermints, Muttz Knuttz, The Unchosen, Michael Lee - Jiggawatts, Ska Souls.

K&A Stage: Rowan Carter, Ellie Ruddock, Greatest Hits Choir, Hell's Gazelles, John Hampden Choir/Transit band, We're Not Mexican, MILK, Evette Judge.

Critical Stage: Huge Carrott, Gemma Aguilar, Cassette Clinic, Lydia Pritchard, Vaultdwellers, Lewis Branch, The Bravados, Ben Cooper, 4AM, Mike Carroll, 14Ten, Samantha Hoare, Young at Heart, The Three Horseshoes.

Expect a mix of tribute, orginal, accoustic and cover bands in all genres with a wide variety of performers throughout the day being confirmed. Proposed acoustic stage in the beer tent to be managed by The First Thursday Music Club and Chinnor Open Mic night.

Tickets

Advance tickets are priced at £6 for adult, £12 family (2 adults 3 children) Under 18/OAP £4. Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets on the gate will be £8. Tickets are available from Vintage & Modern Guitars, Cross Keys pub, and Thame Town Hall.

Other Stuff

Red Kite Scooter Club will be attending the event to display their classic and customised scooters. Cross keys are organising a Real Ale beer tent. There'll also be a children's area with inflatables, face painting and the park's existing, safe play areas.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at B&Bs, caravan and campsites in and around the city of Oxford.
