The 14th Musicport takes place from Friday 18th until Sunday 20th October 2013, at Whitby Pavilion, in North Yorkshire.

The line-up includes headliners Tamikrest, Neville Staple Band, and Amira Amulette Trio, plus Neil Innes, Baladi Blues, Skip 'Little Axe' McDonald, Ergo Phizmiz, Jon Sterckx, Whiskey Dogs, Boff Whalley, DJ Derek, The Orchestra That Fell To Earth (original members of Penguin Cafe Orchestra), Los Chinches, Ballet Nimba, Radik Tulush, Louis Barrabas & The Bedlam Six, Moulettes, Wonderful Sound Of The Cinema Organ, Himmerland, Tantz, Jadid Ensemble, The Young'Uns, Hoda, Steve Folk, Dan Walsh, Mestisa, Patsy Matheson, CC Smugglers, Common Tongue, Lanre, Plumhall, Luke Sharples, Forro Porro, and DJ Tooley. The early bird offer has ended. Weekend tickets are priced at £85 with concession tickets priced at £80, children aged 11s-18 tickets are half price, and under 11s can attend free (accompanied).

With over 50 acts in one indoor venue over 5 stages the music comes from acts from Tuva, Denmark, Peru, Zimbabwe, Bosnia, USA, Tanzania, Mali, Iran & Egypt, and more. The festival also includes live art projections in the DJ cafe, a comic opera about the history of yodelling by Ergo Phizmiz, free fringe events at The Metropole Hotel, films, workshops, a festival bazaar as well as themed food and real ale street events, school and community workshops.
