The 13th Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival takes place over the Easter weekend from Thursday 9th until Monday 13th April 2009. Most events for this weekend festival take place at Nantwich Civic Hall, but there are other smaller gigs taking place at various venues, such as the Crown Hotel, the White Horse, the Red Cow, and McCormicks.

This year the line-up includes international blues musicians such as Saxophonist Snake Davis, Texan Guitarist Hamilton Loomis, Sherman Robertson, Dave Arcari, and Lightnin' Willie.

The Festival will get under way with the now annual MezFest headlining with Reemer on Thursday, along with three other local bands to buy tickets to MezFest priced at £5, click here.
The Jive Aces will play at the Civic on Saturday. The Civic Hall on Sunday will host the Soul'd on Blues tour with Chris Farlow, Cliff Bennett, and Herbie Goins accompanied by The Norman Beaker Band.

The Swing Commanders will be performing a on Nantwich square on Easter Saturday, bringing their music from the thirties, forties and fifties to the town centre. Its a free gig.

There are over 90 different gigs taking place across the weekend, many of which are free, plus daily all day acoustic jazz & blues sessions at The Crown on Sunday and Monday afternoons, with FREE admission for festival wristband holders. There will also be many other gigs around the town too, which are yet to be announced.
