The New Forest Folk Festival takes place at Plaitford near Romsey which is on the edge of the New Forest from Wednesday 2nd until Sunday 6th July 2025.

Line-up

The acts announced for 2025 are: Lindisfarne, Skipinnish, Ralph McTell, Joe Broughtons Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, TRADarrr, Deborah Bonham Band, Track Dogs, The Longest Johns, The Young’uns, Ruth Angel Trio, Phil Beer Solo, Reg Meuross, Mad Dog Mcrea, Jim Cregan Acoustic, Chris Leslie, Honey & The Bear, Joshua Burnell Band, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies Banter, UFQ, Ken Nicol & Wendy Ross, Matt Black, and Southampton Ukulele Jam.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
5-day (Wed-Sun) adult with camping: £115
5-day (Wed-Sun) child aged 5-15 with camping: £50

Day tickets will on sale on January 2025.

Wednesday: the campsite will open at 12.00pm and arena open from 6.00pm. Highlights for this evening include Morris Dancers and sing-around’s plus a barbeque around the bar/workshop marquee area.
Thursday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm. Thursday will be a full day centred around the bar fringe marquee with sing-around’s, and local bands.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm. Three days full of music from the main stage, and workshops from the new Fringe marquee.
