One Love Festival 2009

One Love festival, happens from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd August 2009, at their new home at Port Lympne Wildlife Park, Lympne, Hythe, in Kent.

This year's line up includes Saxon Sound System! (Full Sound System, Full Crew of Trevor Sax, Muscle Head, Micky Boops, Mini Muscle, + very special guests to be announced soon will host the marquee all weekend), David Rodigan, Macka B and Ragga Roots Band, Nick Manasseh, Earl Gateshead and Friends, Smith and Mighty, Mixmaster Morris, Drum Monkeys, Lol Hammond, Stuart Patterson, David Hill, and Skitz. The Out of the Ordinary Green Space will include a travelling observatory, craft stalls, fair trade goods, stone circle, healers, and more.

Created in recognition of one of the worlds greatest ever rock gig, Bob Marley's famous 1978 'One Love' concert, the One Love Festival is the UK's only annual Reggae Camping Festival. The organisers have confirmed that they have teamed up with the Pestalozzi International Village Trust Charity as well.

Tickets are on sale and are priced as follows:
Regular weekend tickets including camping Adults £70, Children (under 14) £40. Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) £150.
Day tickets are priced at £25 for adults. Children day tickets are £15.
Live in vehicles are priced at £30 per vehicle.
Car park ticket £5.
Children tickets are under 14, must be accompanied by adults.

One Love offers festival goers hundreds of performing artists and visual DJs, playing a selection of Reggae, Dub, and Electronic music. Staged amongst four music areas, the festival will also bring a whole host of additional entertainment, including a new healing and green field area, body and soul tent, spoken word area, workshops and market stalls selling a range of craft and wares.

This new site offers more 24-hour secure camping, doubling the campsite from last year. There's a separate family and quiet area that is secure and facilities include compost toilets.

Please note that no bottles, cans, containers, alcohol, food, chairs, tables, or picnic equipment may be brought into the arena, any found will be confiscated. Water and non-alcoholic drinks in plastic bottles with unbroken seals up to 500ml are permitted.

Just an hour's train journey from London, and 5 minutes drive from the A22 One Love Festival is set within 70 acres of organic countryside that has a Farm Shop selling local farm produce and daily papers for morning campers, with farm tours, and country meadow walks.
