Offering festival goers some top international musicians along with a host of Polish music and theatre acts, the 9th Heineken Open'er Festival takes place in Babie Doly Airfield, Gdynia, Poland for four days between Thursday 1st and Sunday 4th July 2010.
Line-up
Pearl Jam, and Kasabian will headline Open'er Festival, with The Dead Weather, Fat Boy Slim, Wild Beats, Die Antwoord, Ellie Goulding, Groove Armada, 2manyDJs, Kings of Convenience, Archive, Regina Spektor, Yeasayer, Grace Jones, Skunk Anansie, Nas, Damian Marley, Tricky, Massive Attack, Pavement, Hot Chip, Gorillaz Sound System, The Hives, Tinariwen, Mando Diao, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Empire Of The Sun, Klaxons, Cypress Hill, Lao Che, Muchy, Indigo Tree, Fox, Julia Marcell, We Call It A Sound, Pablopavo, and Matisyahu also confirmed. The additional 'opening day' line-up means that there will be more than 120 artists programmed to appear at Gdynia.Next to existing stages - the Main Stage, Tent Stage, World Stage, Young Talents Stage, Beat Stage and Alter Space, the organises promise the return of the new stage and a few new surprises for 2010.
The Alter Space will play host to 6 parades, 8 fire shows and the following bands: Jacaszek, Karolina Glazer, Wiracki + Suka Off / BFV, kIRk, Najakotiva, 52um, Kciuk & The Fingers, Pasimito, Muariolanza, Oranżada, NP, Niwea, Pleq, Borys Kossakowski, Brasil and the Gallowbrothers Band, Merkabah.

Tickets are on sale at the following 'early bird' prices until 15th January:-- 4-day ticket without camping: 320 PLN (approx. £70)
- 3-day ticket without camping: 260 PLN (approx. £57)
- 1-day tickets: 155 PLN (approx £34) available after Friday 15th January
- a camping pass: 40 PLN (approx. £9)
The early bird ticket offer ends on Friday 15th January when the price for a 3 day ticket rises to 290 PLN (approx. £63), with the 4 day Ticket priced at 390 PLN (approx. £86). To buy tickets, click here.

Open'er is Poland's largest music and performing arts festival, the total area of festival in Babie Doly airfield is 75 hectares of space with seven stages, around 120 artists, festival town with merchandising area, gastronomic zones, camp site, beach, sea and sun, space for sport activities and multimedia, NGO's, films, theatres and performances.Camping
There are increased camping facilities (10 acres) on-site with showers, more toilets, 24-hour food points and even places to charge up your mobile phone. A bus service (£2) will connect the festival with Gdynia city centre.Green policy
