Offering festival goers some top international musicians along with a host of Polish music and theatre acts, the 10th Heineken Open'er Festival takes place in Babie Doly Airfield, Gdynia, Poland for four days between Wednesday 4th and Saturday 7th July 2012.

Line-up

Headliner Bjork, is joined by Mumford & Sons, The Mars Volta, New Order, Jamie Woon, and AUKSO Chamber Orchestra, Orbital, The Maccabees, Toro y Moi, The Kills, M83, Major Lazer, Dry the River, Bloc Party, Public Enemy, Gogol Bordello, Janelle Monae, The xx, Bon Iver, Wiz Khalifa, Friendly Fires, Bat for Lashes, Franz Ferdinand, SBTRKT, Julia Marcell Justice, Nosowska, Yeasayer, The Ting Tings, Warsaw Village Band and Soldiers Of Jah Army, and, and Polish acts including Fisz Emade Tworzywo, Pablopavo & Praczas, and UL/KR's.

Ticket are on sale, at the following prices:-
- 4-day ticket with camping: 410 PLN (approx. £80)
- 4-day ticket without camping: 370 PLN (approx. £72)
- 2-day ticket Sat&Sun with camping: 330 PLN (approx. £64)
- 2-day ticket Sat&Sun without camping: 290 PLN (approx. £56)
- 1-day tickets (any day) are priced at 165 PLN (approx. £35).

On site

Open'er is Poland's largest music and performing arts festival, the total area of festival in Babie Doly airfield is 75 hectares of space with seven stages, around 120 artists, festival town with merchandising area, gastronomic zones, camp site, beach, sea and sun, space for sport activities and multimedia, NGO's, films, theatres and performances.

Camping

There are increased camping facilities (10 acres) on-site with showers, more toilets, 24-hour food points and even places to charge up your mobile phone. A bus service (around £2) will connect the festival with Gdynia city centre.

Green policy

The festival is committed to a 100% PET plastic policy, even recently purchasing a state-of-the-art press to crush all the waste at the festival.
