The Fire In The Hand festival will be held in the historic setting of Colchester Castle. The gates open at 11.30am and bands begin an hour later.
There are seven bands, chosen from 5000 demo's, which are meant to be representative of the new wave of contemporary, diverse British rock. The line-up is as follows: Silas; White Man Kamikaze, Insomnia, Goodman Ray, U-Turn, Fleet, and headliners, The Hush.
Other attractions include a bunjee jump, rodeo bulls, velcro flywalls, clothes stalls from Camden Market and other places, food, drink and bars plus Europe's largest bouncy castle!
The organisers anticipate over 15,000 people, and some of the proceeds will go towards the main beneficiary, Marie Curie cancer research.
