Carnival de Cuba 2006

Europes biggest FREE Cuban carnival, from midday to 8.00pm on the Saturday, and from midday to 7.00pm on the Sunday.

Direct from Cuba are some of the best cutting edge bands with the spiciest flavas around: Pedrito Calvo - the soul of Los Van Van for 26 Years; Sur Caribe; Arnaldo y su Talisman. Plus a Reggaeton showcase, a dance stage, a Kid's Carnival Workshop, a huge Conga procession, and flavours of Cuba with cocktails, coffee, and cigars.

Location: Bernie Spain Gardens, along the South Bank riverside walkway, London SE1 between the OxoTower and the LWT building, close to the London Eye. From Waterloo, 5 minute walk east along the Embankment.
