City Blues and Acoustic Festival 2007

Leicester's City Blues & Acoustic Festival is now in its 2nd year. The event, which runs from Friday 20th April to Saturday 5th May, is being held in recognition and celebration of the blues and acoustic genres. Live music will be spread over a number of venues in Leicester, and will bring together a mix of local, national and international talent.

The festival highlight is an all day event, held at De Montfort Hall on Saturday 5th May, and features over 30 acts across three stages. It will last from 12 noon - 12 midnight and costs £25.

Acts confirmed for the Electric! Main Stage are Sherman Robertson & Bluesmove, The Nimmo Brothers, Ian Seigal Band, Jake Stigers Band, Joanne Shaw Taylor Band, Leicester Blues All-Stars, Howard Smith & The Razors, Dr Teeth's Big Band.

Acts confirmed for the Robert Johnson Stage are The Dirty Backbeats, Kyla Brox, Jack Of Hearts Band, The Two Timers, Ian Siegal (Acoustic), The Blues Demons, The Forty Fours, Dawson Smith & Simon Faulks, Carlton Cole & Neil Brammel, and Tony Jones.

Acts confirmed for The Musician Acoustic Stage are 7 Storeysoul, Nick Harper, John Butler & Rick Willson, David Wyatt, Dan Britton, Gren Bartley, Rachel Mainstone, and Joel Owen.
