Runrig – Beat the Drum, Loch Ness will take place on Saturday 18th August next year at Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit, on the shores of Loch Ness (subject to license).
With Runrig headlining, Loch Ness will take the form of a day long music festival with support from several special guests, yet to be announced. In addition the Blas Festival, which has been doing much to promote Gaelic traditional music in the Highlands, will also be involved by providing a musical backdrop of young upcoming talent on a secondary stage (under canvas) to celebrate the burgeoning profile of the areaÂ’s traditional music.
