FurnessFest is a newly established summer Music & Arts Festival for the Furness and South Lakes area taking place midday on Friday 18th July until the evening of Sunday 20th July 2008.

Headliners OPM, are joined by Aim, The Holloways, Guns 2 Roses, Greg Vickers, Major Major, Subnoize Souljaz, Bikini Black Special, The Mooncats, Craine, Atlas, Pushbike Army, From The Ashes, The Steeples, Amenti, Damaged Angels, The Thursdays, 43p Short, Codejak, Jonny Swift, The Hicks, The Prophets, God Directors, Small Town Dogs, Runt Hornet, Speedtheory, Arficeden, The Labels, DJ Food, The Judith Jones Band, Allerjen, Burnt, Tongue Tide, Jusure, James Gorman, Sackville, Screwy, Bisonhammer, Monkeyseemonkeydo, and Denounce.

FurnessFest will mix live music and artistic talent of Furness and blend it with established national artists and performers. Expect over 60 local and national perfomers on two stages. FurnessFest will also host a dance tent, with guest DJ's from all over the North West making appearances.

The Furness Peninsular lies between the seas of Morecambe Bay and the Duddon Estuary. The FurnessFest site overlooks the Irish Sea, the newly regenerated shipyard town of Barrow in Furness is only three miles away and there are many small but interesting villages and market towns to explore in the area.

Adult (16+) weekend tickets will be priced at £50 giving access to the whole weekend's entertainment ); Under 16s Weekender Pass £25. Day tickets are priced at £20 or £10 for under 16s

An adult day ticket (16+) with no camping will be priced at £20; Under 16s Day Ticket - no camping £10. Day tickets will be on offer later, although these will be very limited in number. Under 16's MUST be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ and ID will be STRICTLY checked. Free camping and parking space will be allocated with ticket and the site is fully licensed for alcohol.
