THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This is due to new demands from the council requesting 50% of the profits and a £60,000 bond on the land. All ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund, and arrangements are currently being made to organise new venues and dates for some of the artists that were scheduled to perform at Homecoming 09.

====================
Scotland's newest dance music festival, Homecoming, will take place at Irvine Beach Park, Ayrshire, over the May Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May). This new festival will play host to 12 arenas over two days and each day will run for 14 hours, finishing at 2am.

The line-up announced so far includes Armin Van Buuren, Lisa Lashes, Reverend and the Makers, Scratch Perverts, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, South Central, Evil Nine, Bob Sinclar, Soul II Soul Sound System, Tim Westwood, Tiao Cruz, Jocelyn Brown, Dimitri From Paris, Krafty Kuts, Utah Saints, Tidy Boys, Anne Savage, Dumb Blonde, Yves Klein Blue, Kate Lawler, and many more. Plus DJ sets from the Pigeon Detectives, Babyshambles, Belle & Sebastian, Utah Saints, Teenage Fanclub, and Snow Patrol.

Tiesto's label Black Hole, Twice As Nice, We Love, RemixFM, Helter Skelter, and A State Of Trance will host arenas, and Glasgow music venue The Box will have a 'New Talent Stage' offering a platform for unsigned bands giving them the chance to play both The Box and at the festival. Bands will be selected by heats at The Box with the winning acts playing over the weekend.

Tickets are priced at £89, or £99 with camping. Day passes are on sale, priced at £49 per day. The weekend pass also includes other savings such as half price camping passes.

As Bebo are the headline sponsor for this year's festival, they are offering their Bebo fans an offer of half price tickets. From 3rd until 10th April, all Bebo fans who buy a Homecoming ticket from the Homecoming Bebo page can get a second half price.

The event will also have a Headphones And Heels arena, bringing glamour to the Saturday. Lisa Unique, Lauren Pope, Jakki Degg, Sam Cooke, Kellie Acreman and Charlotte Narni provide the beauty behind the decks while the M8 Playm8tes take to the podiums and the search for Miss Homecoming Festival comes to a conclusion as we crown the queen of the festival.

Glasgow club Karbon has joined the Homecoming Festival party! The club will be hosting two arenas over the Homecoming Weekend – the VIP arena on Saturday and the TwiceasNice arena on the Sunday.

Homecoming will also offer festival goers a funfair, campsite, silent disco, comedy tent, licensed bar, camping store, food vendors, ATM machines, alongside toilets, shower and washroom facilities.

The event will run from 12pm until 2am. Travel to the event will be provided by a fleet of trains and buses, regularly ferrying festival goers to and from the site. The event is strictly for over 18s only.
