OSSfest 2009

OSSfest (Ossett Town Music Festival) is organised by Ossett Town Football Club and is an all-day live music event to raise funds for Wakefield Hospice and the football club. The event will happen on Saturday 1st August at the club's Ingfield Stadium.

The programme will feature 12 bands, included in the line-up are White Belt Yellow Tag, The Faff, New Vinyl, Above Them, The Antiks, Tresmacacos, The Headstart, Voo, Brand New Analogues, and The Wireless Stones. Plus a very special headliner soon to be announced.


Tickets are priced at £20 for standing or £25 for seating. All gate receipts will be shared on a 50/50 basis with the charity meaning that a minimum donation of £10 from each ticket goes to a well deserving charity, with the other £10 going towards developing the football club and it's facilities. The event starts at 11am and finishes at 11pm, the 12-hour live music marathon is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds for Wakefield Hospice and Ossett Town FC. If successful, this will become an annual fundraising event.
