Rock The River 2009

Now in its second year, Rock The River, is a wakeboarding and music festival held on Conwy Quay, Conwy, North Wales held from the evening of Friday 7th August until Sunday 9th August, with the backdrop of the historical landmark, Conwy Castle.

Saturday night has The Dub Pistols Soundsystem featuring Rodney P, Lindy Layton, Scratch DJ Realm and Tom Bone. Also DJ Aim, The Screaming Citizens and many more.

The event starts on Friday night with clips of wakeboarding films being shown on large screens, an open bar and DJs playing.

Over the weekend during the day there are wakeboarding displays on the river as well as family entertainment such as a variety of stalls, various food outlets, rides, entertainment, a bar, and DJ and live music on the quay, all with free admission. Sunday has the Big Air Kicker competition with the bar open all day from 10 am to 6pm, and live music throughout the day!

Tickets for the Saturday evening party are priced at £20 and the event is held in a massive marquee with adjacent beer tent. To buy tickets, click here.
