St Albans Festival takes place from Friday 11th to Sunday 27th June across many of the city's theatres, venues and open spaces. The St Albans Festival offers entertainment, film, literature, theatre, live music and dance, and family fun.
This year the festivities open with a weekend of events to celebrate St Albans' role in the drafting of the Magna Carta. This theme will be echoed in performances, street events and museum activities. Other events include Albantide Festival Pilgrimage procession, Folk at the Festival weekend, Larks In The Parks, Buskers Week, The Alban Arena showcases, The Maltings Arts Theatre's programme features the films of Stanley Kubrick, and St Albans Alive! brings the Festival to an end with an array of music and entertainment for the whole family.
