Welsh Warrior Festival 2010

The Richard Hunt Foundation present the Welsh Warrior Festival in Bailey Park Abergavenny on Saturday 15th May 2010 from 10am until 10pm.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include Hey! Tonight, Hoochie Mamma, Town, The Undivided, Go X Big Macs Wholly Soul Band, 2 Rude, I Cant Believe Its Not Oasis, MLE, The Last Resort, The Guns, Cwmbran Male Voice Choir. Plus guest appearances from the Patrons Max Boyce, Gareth Edwards & Christian Malcolm. There will be also be music from other up and coming and well known local bands.

Displays

There will also be displays throughout the day in the main arena including Welsh Axemen Display Team, Black Mountain Falconry Display, BUMS Morris Dancers, BLR Riders Mini Club, Army Recruitment Team, Fire Service V Army Assault Course, Cadets Band, and Jawahir Belly Dance troupe.

Charities

Several major service related charities will also be attending to raise funds and awareness for themselves. These include St Dunstans, BLESMA, Holidays for Heroes, RBL, RAF Benevolent Fund, SOS, SSAFA, Combat Stress, Afghan Heroes, Pilgrim Bandits, and Talking 2 Minds.

Tickets

A family ticket is priced at £12, and adult day ticket is priced at £5, a children's ticket (for those aged 5-12 years) is priced at £3, an OAP Ticket is priced at £3, with children aged under 5 able to attend for free.
