GreenZone Festival 2012

GreenZone Festival is 3 day camping event for the military and their supporters. It is a light hearted event for the guys/girls. Without all the formal things you normally get at military events. So no Recruiting trailers or tank displays, just good music, comedians and live entertainment. It will take place at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, in North Leicestershire from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2012.

Line-up

Friday: Little Comets, Dirty Goods, Everybody Looks Famous, Abandoned Faith, No Obligation, The Daytona Riots, Strange October, This Red Rock, Sonner.

Saturday: Reverend and The Makers, The Sunshine Underground, Dive Bella Dive, The Hummingbirds, Rubys, High Heels and Lowlifes, Shot Away, Fidel and the Castros.

Tickets

Tickets are available to all, not just Military. The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £69 for a full weekend camping or £40 for a day ticket. Prices will be £90 on the gate with camping. To buy tickets, click here.

This is an all ages event.

The festival is built primarily by serving and ex serving members of the Military. 10p from every £1 profit will go to Help for Heroes, Army Benevolent Fund and Cash 4 Commandos.There is also a Battle of the Bands competition currently running, with the 10 most popular finalists being invited to play the festival.
