The celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jamaica's independence. London's IndigO2 will play host to the Respect Jamaica 50th Festival with some of the most iconic reggae, ska and dub artists appearing together on stage during the twelve-day event.

The two week extravaganza, from Thursday 25th July until Monday 6th August will include a multitude of legendary Jamaican singers, DJs, writers, comedians, actors and poets from Damian Marley, Junior Murvin, and Lee 'Scratch' Perry to Shaggy and Jimmy Cliff.

Authentic Jamaican food and drink will also be on hand during the festivities for everyone to enjoy. All key Olympic events will also be screened at the venues to ensure none of the action is missed, including Jamaica's hotly anticipated gold medal run.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
