MADhurst takes place in the heart of the South Downs National Park, over 9 days from Sunday 19th August to Monday 27th August in and around the market town of Midhurst in West Sussex offering music, art and drama of all types.

Line-up

A wide ranging programme of diverse events over nine days will open on Sunday 19th August with two major Band concerts for which new compositions have been specially commissioned for MADhurst. The festival will end on August Bank Holiday Monday with the carnival finale day including a firework display as the close.

Friday 24th August: The Elm, Boomslang.

Friday 24th August: Ali Gibson Jazz Band, Steve Redshaw Sussex Band, Dave & Jean Mallan, Roger & Pauline Nash, Celtic Cymbal, Alan Gibson, Track Of Words, Will B & The Bikini Black Special, Slow Dazzle, The Glory Boys, Floron, Free Control, Lem & The White Fire.

Sunday 26th August: Good Gracious, Caitlin Boulton, Ed Goodale, Wolfhound.

Monday 26th August : Midhurst Musical Mayhem, Half Moon Male Voice Choir, Vikki Gamblen, The Band Project, Tanisha, Wolfhound, Aimee, Dragonfly Dance. Ticketed: Live After Midnight, The Visitors, Dean's Fire Act, Mike Fry & The Ft Band, Malfunction.

Tickets

Most events are free. This year tickets will needed to attend the 2012 MADhurst Festival finale evening. These will be in the form of MADhurst 2012 wristbands with early bird tickets priced at £3 each or 4 for £10.

Wristbands can be bought in advance from The MADhurst Box Office in West Street, Midhurst which opens on 30th July.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
